Manifesto

A certain idea of the visit

Paris is not to be visited: it is to be told. Behind every façade there is a story, behind every table a hand — and the traveller deserves better than a list of places. They deserve a voice walking beside them.

Paris & Me is written in the first person. Every monument is narrated, every restaurant has been visited, every piece of advice is the kind you give a friend on the eve of their departure. Nothing is mass-generated, nothing is bought, nothing is copied.

Commitments

Free, independent, discreet

No advertising

No banners, no sponsored content, no in-app purchases, no subscription. The app is free — entirely.

No complacency

Reviews are personal opinions, never paid for. No establishment has any say over what is written about it.

No indiscretion

No data resale, no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics. The details, in plain words, are in the privacy policy.

To institutions & great houses

You watch over a place we write about

Monuments, museums, cultural institutions, houses and tables: if your establishment appears in Paris & Me, it is because it matters to the Paris we tell. That presence is editorial: it cannot be bought and cannot be negotiated — which is precisely what makes it worth having.

An opening time to correct, a historical detail to set right, a cultural project, a visit to arrange: the editorial desk reads every message and replies personally.
